The best tools for getting more Google reviews in the UK (2026)

An honest list of tools for getting more Google reviews in the UK, with 2026 prices and what to avoid.

Part of our guide: How to get more Google reviews for your business.

Written by Dan Sagar, FoundationsAI. Updated October 2026.

The best tool for getting more Google reviews is the one that asks every customer, every time, without you having to remember. Google's own review link is free and is enough if you'll send it yourself. If you won't, a tool that sends the request automatically by text and email after every job makes the biggest difference. Watch out for tools that collect reviews on their own site rather than on Google.

    Google reviews or review sites?

Some well-known review tools, like Trustpilot, Feefo and Checkatrade, collect reviews on their own websites. Those reviews don't show on your Google Business Profile, which is what people see on Google Maps. If Google reviews are what you want, choose a tool that sends people to Google.

    The options compared

Prices are from each provider's website, checked on 11 October 2026. Some are in US dollars.

    1. Google's free review link and QR code

In your Google Business Profile, you can copy a short link that opens the review box straight away, and print it as a QR code. It's free and works well if you send it yourself after every job. The weakness is that it relies on you remembering, and most people don't. See how to ask for a review without feeling awkward.

    2. GoHighLevel (through FoundationsAI)

When a job is marked done, the customer gets a review request by text and email, with a reminder if they don't respond. Every customer gets the same request. New reviews show in one place so you can reply. It's on our Pro plan, alongside missed call text back, follow-up and booking. See how to automate Google review requests after a job.

    3. GatherUp and NiceJob

Both are dedicated review tools that send requests by text and email. They're priced in US dollars and built mainly for the US market, so check that texts come from a UK number before you sign up.

    4. Trustindex

Best for showing your Google reviews on your website, with a free plan. It's not mainly a tool for asking for new reviews.

    5. Trustpilot, Feefo and Checkatrade

Good tools, but reviews stay on their own sites. Trustpilot and Feefo suit online shops. Checkatrade suits trades who win work through Checkatrade. None of them add reviews to your Google Business Profile.

Your job software may already do it

If you use a trade job tool, check what it includes before you buy anything else. ServiceM8 sends feedback requests on every plan. Jobber offers review requests as a paid add-on. Powered Now can show your Google reviews on your website.

    Don't only ask happy customers

Google's rules say businesses must not "selectively solicit positive reviews from customers". Some setups only send happy customers to Google and steer unhappy ones to a private form. That breaks the rules and can get reviews removed. Ask every customer, and deal with complaints properly. See how to handle a bad review on Google.

    Common questions

What is the best tool for getting Google reviews?
One that asks every customer automatically after every job, by text and email, and sends them straight to Google. If you'll do it yourself, Google's free review link is enough.

Is there a free way to get more Google reviews?
Yes. Copy your review link from your Google Business Profile and send it to every customer, or print it as a QR code.

Do Trustpilot reviews show on Google?
They don't add to your Google Business Profile. If Google reviews matter most, use a tool that sends people to Google.

Can I only send review requests to happy customers?
No. Google's rules don't allow it, and it can get reviews removed. Ask everyone.

Are review requests on FoundationsAI Starter?
No. Automatic review requests are on Pro and Managed.
